Both partners and competitors, sometimes allies, sometimes enemies... The relationship between the United States and China has become much more complex over the last decade. Yet these two great economic powers are inextricably linked, particularly in terms of trade. One interesting fact is that China is the largest foreign creditor of the United States. The tenure of former U.S. President Donald Trump, however, has severely damaged this relationship, leading to an exacerbated trade war between the two countries, with a clear impact on the global economy.

What makes a team successful? Most probably, you can easily enumerate a couple of factors based on your intuition and own experiences. And what makes a multicultural team successful? Working on an intercultural team requires some more advanced skills and the right attitude. Students who join the ABSParis have many opportunities to practice those skills.

Doing an internship abroad is a fantastic opportunity for students. Not only does it allow you to live an exciting experience both from a human and cultural perspective, but also one that can enrich a professional experience and thus enhance a CV, especially for students aiming for an international career. According to the International Institute of Education, nearly 60% of employers said that international work experience is a significant factor when evaluating candidate profiles.

A lot of students in higher education, from all over the world, decide at one point of time to study abroad, to spend a semester, a year, or summer away from their home and home institution to experience studying in a different country. Most students decide to study abroad for the experience of living in a foreign country, not as a tourist with an outside view but to become part of a different country’s culture and society. Adding a country where the language might be a foreign one adds a level of difficulty in this integration.

Following an initiative by the Administration of the school, the Chinese authorities recognized the BBA program of The American Business School of Paris by accepting the “Title 1 International Manager”, registered with the RNCP, as being the equivalent of a Chinese master’s degree (decree of 8 December 2017, Official Gazette of 21 December 2017, code NSF 310, 312, 313).
