This month, students from the American Business School of Paris once again took part in the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) by Erasmus+, hosted by IULM University in Milan. This experience was a fantastic opportunity for them to gain deeper insights into the luxury industry in one of the world’s fashion capitals and to build connections with students from partner universities.
After arriving by train on a sunny Monday morning, the students headed to the university, where they were welcomed with a hearty breakfast. Then, alongside students from IULM and Kozminski University, they explored Milan and its many cultural landmarks, including the Gallerie d’Italia, ADI Museum, Ratti and much more, like a necessary stop in a typical Italian restaurant.
The end goal was to gather knowledge and ideas for a final group project : to communicate a design concept that unites a stylish armchair with a matching rug. At the end of the week, each team presented their work before a jury, and the best groups received awards. They once again impressed us with their creativity and innovation, especially in such a short timespan!
Finally the time came to say goodbye and go home. Everyone came back with fond memories of their time in Milan!
The next BIP will be hosted by ABS Paris later this year - stay tuned!
