GRADUATION CEREMONY 2021

Congratulations to our 2019 and 2020 graduates!

On Thursday, July 1st, the graduation ceremony of all the IGS Groupe schools, including the American Business School of Paris, was held at the Zenith in Paris.

Graduation ceremonies are always a milestone in the lives of our students as a commemoration of their years of study and hard work to earn their diploma. They are also a special occasion to celebrate the success of our students and, despite the particular health situation, this 2021 edition was no exception.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic that paralyzed France and almost every country in the world starting from March 2020, the 2020 graduation ceremony could not take place. Although France was no longer under lockdown in July 2020, with the unstable sanitary situation it was not possible to plan and organize an event of such a scale. In addition, travel across some European countries and all international countries was still restricted.

This is why we felt so strongly about organizing the 2021 graduation ceremony and wanted to celebrate both our 2019 and 2020 graduates. It was very important for us to offer the Class of 2019 a truly worthy and festive ceremony, even if some health measures limited the number of participants.

This graduation ceremony was a reflection of the last teaching months that our graduates had; a hybrid experience. Indeed, over 1,700 students, including 84 from ABSParis, were able to celebrate their graduation moment in person after receiving their graduation gown, cap, pompom, and scarf. The other students (more than 2,500) as well as families and friends were able to watch the ceremony live online.

And that’s not all: Fabien Olicard, French mentalist and YouTuber, was the master of ceremony, while Daniel Narcisse, former French international handball player (double Olympic champion, quadruple world champion and triple European champion) was the sponsor of this edition. Two outstanding individuals with inspiring backgrounds and valuable advice and encouragement for our young graduates who are now ready to embark on their professional journey.
